Gorgeous views and beautifully appointed interior with thoughtful touches in the amenities. I stayed the whole summer on sabbatical with my teenage daughter who had summer internships at the Capitol and Chinatown and the bus routes were simple and straightforward. We don’t drive but my friends and family were thrilled to have parking in Waikiki. We were sad to leave but now we have goals to try to live somewhere like this again. A hui hou!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lanikea. The view, in person, is far better than it appears in the photos. While the apartment and furnishings are showing signs of wear (the building is 20 years old!), it was meticulously clean upon our arrival. It was well stocked with glasses, dishes, utensils and all the cookware we required. The location is excellent, only a short walk to the ocean (3 to 4 blocks) and most everything else in Waikiki. The staff and residents were friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. It has more of a residential feel than vacation rental. The pool and hot tub are very nice and often we were the only ones using them. The management company responded to a couple of minor inquiries/requests promptly. Kudos to Luana Hawaii Property management. The apartment does come with two parking spots (which we did not avail ourselves of). We would love to stay here again if we visit Waikiki in the future. The best compliment I can say about this apartment and building is that, if we had the financial resources to do so, we would seriously consider purchasing here at Lanikea. Mahalo

This property is wonderful. It's ideal if you want to be in a secure building with an ocean view and friendly front desk staff. The parking was convenient, the pool and hot tub were nice, and the layout of the condo was optimal for us. The block is on the quieter side, but if you've not been to Waikiki the area can get a bit noisy. Just something to consider. Thank you to the owner, property manager, and building staff for a lovely stay!
