DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!

Nothing. Property was so dirty was unable to stay there and had to book into a nearby hotel. Contacted Booking.com and the owner of the property and neither were interested in the complaint. Owner refused to refund.

EVERYTHING - The smell as you entered the property was a damp, dirty, stale cigarette smell. Bedding had not been changed for a long time, lots of stains (brown and white) lots of black hair on the mattress sheet. The windows were blocked with cardboard along the bottom to attempt to stop the draft. The shower plug hole was blocked with thick black hair and the plug cover thick with scum. Nothing in the kitchen was usable as was dirty with old food stains on and the floor in the bathroom was sticky and dirty. Accosted on the way in from another tenant who thought I was there to help them! Contacted the owner and asked for a refund which was refused. Apparently, nobody looks at plug holes or behind curtains when they rent a property and there have never been complaints before. Booking.com were not interested in the issues this flat has and are happy to advertise on their website. Home from Home? I don't know anyone whose home is in this disgusting condition. It's an embarrassment.

Coming from someone who travels a lot for work and has to use self-catering apartments often, this is the first time I've felt the responsibility to leave a review to warn people of what they are in for. You can immediately smell strong cigarette smoke as soon as you enter the apartment. The windows and doors are drafty, we had all the heaters at full blast for our entire 2 day stay and the apartment was barely warm enough to take coats/hoodies off. I'm not exaggerating when I say we could feel every single spring in the mattress, we've all had an uncomfortable bed before but this really was something else. The oven was still dirty with food from previous guests and the washing machine was also full (and not turned off either.) AVOID AT ALL COSTS there is a travelodge across the road from this apartment which I would strongly recommend looking at instead.

Manageable

The property was nice and had all the essentials for staying for a short while. It was in a convenient location for me and the self check in was very easy and user friendly

The toilet seat was broken therefore i had to use the toilet without a toilet seat which was very uncomfortable and I was given any advance notice or warning about this. There could have been hangers in the bathroom and rooms to hang clothes behind doors or somewhere to keep my clothes on. The property had carpets which did not look clean and i was finding other peoples hair around the property which was not nice

It was dirty, like every wall, surface and furniture was dirty. After sitting on the sofa i became very itchy. It was a really rough area. All the post boxes had been broken into in the recpetion. The builidng inside is dirty. The owner saw the videos, agreed to a refund then went back on themselves so i had to go through booking.com. Overall its not worth cheaping out. Get somewhere nicer and cleaner. There is also no parking nearby except for parking on the street in the next estate over which isnt ideal for safety reasons.

I thank God we did not check in the day we were meant to due to unforeseen circumstances which spared us a day of using

Nothing much

We had booked air bnb so that we are able to cook our meals as my husband is diabetic and controls it by diet. We could not boil something as simple as an egg as the cooker was not hot enough. Air fryer was rusty . Fridge freezer was dirty with left over cans of Pepsi which had bursted in the freezer . The shower cubicle was blocked and had to unblock it by taking off hair that had blocked it ( I have pictures)

Nice apartment, terrible neighbourhood

The actual apartment was nice, although it was cold and the heaters weren’t great.

The location is awful. The apartment block is dirty and scary for a single lady. Lots of gangs, kids shouting at all hours of the night. I felt uneasy staying there alone. There was rubbish all around the site and despite asking for a parking spot, I was given a parking ticket.

Very comfortable and modern flat for a short term stay, lovely for a little get away

Very cozy feel ~ cleaned and modern

Hobbs were difficult to use, especially due to there being no markings on the dials to know when it is off or not
