The Old School House - Luxury Themed Apartments

Good location.

The main gate was broken and the front door had no closer so was left open. Anyone could walk straight in to the building off the street. As a result the main door banged all night. You couldn’t get up to shut it as the sensor by the door would turn the bathroom light on which then stayed on for about half an hour, glass door on the bathroom so bright as day in the bedroom. Lamps missing lightbulbs, no mattress topper on the bed, just a sheet. Towels smelt like they weren’t clean.

The decoration was superb & quirky. Location wise it was central to everything we needed.

Property itself : There was rubbish under the bed, thick dust on pretty much every surface out of eyeshot, what looked like ejaculate on the sofa amongst many other stains & marks throughout, missing TV remote, budget loo roll, & there was a dank damp musty smell that seemed to be coming from the bathrooms. The entrance : to the property once we had managed to find it was embarrassing as people watched us struggle to gain access especially after all of the faff with the unnecessary online registration. Once we finally gained access after people staring, muttering & sniggering at our struggle we came across an obstruction of laundry trolley’s blocking our path which we subsequently had to manhandle out of our way with our heavy baggage we had already carried for a considerable time from the £15 a night car parking. I’ll informed or not at all extra costs : The car park was £15 a night (which isn’t unreasonable) although would have been nice to have a heads up as we had to travel with two vehicles. The holding fee (which was in breach of your own terms & conditions) was not made aware until after booking & had I known would have cancelled. £250 is ridiculous especially when a decent cleaner hasn’t been paid to do a proper job let alone the fee already paid for the stay. A real shame as it’s a lovely location & property otherwise & we would have definitely booked several times again without all of this nonsense.

Stayed here with some friends for a football team celebration, location was perfect and it was very easy to find, code for front gate didn’t work at first but a quick chat with a very friendly host and we were in. Apartment was central for all friends to meet and we had an excellent night! We’ll be sure to stay here again!

Location, beds and comfort were exceptional, as was the customer service. We had a couple of things that needed sorting, called the number and Jeff came round straight away. Shower was great, toiletries available and towels were big. Coffee, tea etc available along with detergent. Felt safe & no noise at all.

One of the beds had hairs in it. No little kitchenette, so dishes would be done in the bathroom sink?

No kitchen sink. Couldn't get Aircon working Pictures made it look bigger. No instructions for Nespresso machine.

The property was cool. Fabulous service due to an online problem of mine during check in, admin staff were excellent. Great location, quiet considering central location and spotless. Whole apartment was comfortable, bedrooms were a good size. Closest parking 2 minutes walk away.

Internal window would benefit from a blind. Great if everyone goes to be at the same time otherwise the bedroom is lit up. Also a green glow from the smoke alarm light is constant. ( Only really an issue if you like a very dark room to sleep ).

The host was phenomenal after a cancellation with our original booking at a different venue.

It was a great location and the beds were really comfortable.

It was tiny and looks bigger in the pictures. There is no sink or cutlery/plates.

The apartment was in an excellent location. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had its own air conditioning control. The bathrooms were very smart and clean with very large and soft towels. There was plenty of seating in the living room with a kettle and tea and coffee facilities.

There were no facilities to clean the mugs. A sponge and small bottle of washing up liquid would have been useful even if we had to use the bathroom sink.

Great location in the Lace Market, behind Pitcher & Piano and in the heart of Nottingham City Centre shops and restaurants. We stayed in the gaming themed room for the kids, which they thought was great. Check-in very easy as all done remotely.

The apartment is tiny (we didn't have space to fit our suitcases anywhere at all in the master room so had to put them in the living room, which was also tiny). It also needed a good clean. We had the gaming room, which had great novelty but only 2 of the 3 gaming machines worked. Small things like we didn't have enough toilet paper for the 2 nights we were there, no tissues which for the price we paid and a 'luxury' apartment, should be there.
