It is a mere 5 minutes from downtown Wilmington with its quaint shopping, restaurants and vibrant nightlife, and 10 minutes from NC's most beautiful beaches. We stayed in the cottage for 4 nights. The weather was 15 degrees above normal for that time of year however we were cool and comfortable inside. After it cooled off in the evening we were able to spend some time on the back deck. We also took a walk around the park and near the water in the morning before it heated up outside. The location was ideal for us. Not too far from the beaches or downtown and we visited both every day. The accommodations are top shelf…comfortable bed, chairs and a well stocked kitchen. Donnie even provided several snacks and beverages which were an added plus. There was nothing for us to do but checkin and relax which we did. We will come back to stay on our next visit to the area. I truly cannot say enough good things about this listing! The home was super clean and included so many thoughtful little touches. It was tucked into such a charming little neighborhood that it made you forget you were in a city. And the host was awesome - very friendly and helpful - and he went above and beyond in every way. Super Host for sure! We travel into town several times a year, and will definitely be looking into this listing first every time we come.

The cottage was charming, clean, and well situated to get quickly to many locations in the area. The neighborhood is a quiet one, and the adjoining park is a great bonus. The host was friendly, helpful, and communicative. We’ll definitely stay here next time we come this way!
