Town: Osmotherley is a picturesque North Yorkshire conservation village, with grass and tree lined streets set on a small hillside on the western edge of the North York Moors National Park, nestling between the Cleveland Hills to the east and the Yorkshire Dales to the west. Osmotherley is very popular with cyclists and walkers with the Cleveland Way and the Coast-to-Coast long distance footpaths passing close by and it’s also the start (or finish!) of the famous Lyke Wake Walk. Osmotherley has attractive stone-built houses centred around an old village cross with three pubs, a picturesque coffee shop, a well-stocked general store and a fish and chip shop.
