The house was in an amazing location very close to the centre of Dorchester yet secluded and beautifully quiet. A lovely outdoor space, beautiful large garden and plenty of seating, pretty much in the sun or shade all day depending upon which side of the table you sat (absolutely worked for our party with various attitudes towards the sun!). Bedrooms were a great size, beds were comfortable, all household practicalities provided for and plenty of crockery and cutlery. A large American style fridge/freezer. Half an hour away from Weymouth and Durdle Door, Bridport even closer. Cesne Abbas made for a good brief outing. Would certainly recommend.

We loved our recent stay. It was a comfortable family home in a great location. Host family was friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful and the weather was nice enough to enjoy them. Thoughtful gift box upon arrival. Safe and gated estate. Gave a true feeling of an English country experience.
