This was an absolutely idyllic spot to while away a few summer days! The shaded yard was beautiful and made the temperature pleasant, leading to leisurely time spent on the well furnished front porch, chatting and watching the deer. Inside, the cabin was well laid out and very comfortable. We loved the master bath (with claw foot tub!) and all of the rustic touches throughout. We cooked throughout our stay (the grocery store was very close at hand!) in the well appointed kitchen and enjoyed the grill area, fenced yard and made smores in the fire pit. The resort itself was wonderful, with 3 pools and a great rec center. We visited downtown Ellijay and Engelheim vineyards (highly recommended), which were close at hand. We also ventured (40 minutes) to the spectacular Amicalola Falls and State park and enjoyed stopping along the way home at several farm markets. We especially enjoyed Reece Orchards and cidery. We had only a few minor questions during our stay and received very speedy replies from the owner. I highly recommend this property!

We came for a vacation with our parents and young kids and are so glad we decided to stay at this VRBO on the Coosawattee River Resort. The resort amenities were fantastic, my kids loved swimming, mini golf, and playing in the river. My son caught a fish at the pond and we also enjoyed a free concert at the resort Barn. The property itself was beautiful and comfortable. Great space, very clean, and very responsive host with any questions that came up. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher but it was addressed right away! We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit in the evenings. My kids especially loved how close the deer got, they’d greet them every morning from the front porch! The little town of Ellijay was so fun, especially on Saturday morning when they have the Farmers market. And Blue Ridge is just a short drive north. My husband even got his first hole-in-one at the local White Path golf club. We would definitely stay here again and highly reccomend it to others!

I would give this cabin 10 stars if I could! The cabin was beautiful, in an awesome location, and had everything we needed plus more. The cabin owner was quick to respond when we had an issue, and she went over and above to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

The house was great, everything was clean and updated. The beds were very comfortable. For those looking the fence is fully enclosed with a heavy gauge ~3" dear fencing. I think all but maybe a 4lb or less dog would be very secure. I worried a bit because I couldn't tell online, the fence does not connect to the front porch so you don't have to worry about the short fence on the front porch because they are not connected and the regular fence is about 4ft tall. We had a great time with the community activities; there was water aerobics and beach ball volley ball at the rec center indoor pool. We also did Bingo (10 free games per person) and walking/running club. The retirees LOVED having my middle schooler join in and they were very kind and welcoming. Also, the driveway is flat, the roads are a little windy to get there but not remotely scary and the driveway to the house is a half round that is flat so no fear of rainy days etc...I would definitely recommend staying at the house.
