## Logement
The accommodation is cosy and very well appointed. With a capacity of 5 people, it is ideal for a family holiday in Sanary-sur-Mer. It has two bedrooms with two double beds (one of which can be split into 2 single beds) and a single bed, a fully-equipped kitchen, a shower room, and a lovely sitting area with sofa and television where you can relax after an intense day. The accommodation also has a TERRACE with outdoor furniture where you can enjoy the sunny days and sit outside. You will also have access to the residence's shared swimming pool (no deckchairs). You will find everything you need during your stay, including: coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, iron, hairdryer, washing machine, tumble dryer, plancha, parking/garage.
The velux window in the bedroom has been replaced by a new one, and is fitted with a roof shutter.
Pets are welcome.
A professional cleaning is carried out after each guest. You will be staying 1.5 km from the town centre, where you will find various bars, restaurants and shops. A supermarket, bakery, butcher and tobacconist are just 500 metres away. Casino 5 minutes' drive from the accommodation. Make the most of your stay to discover the town and its must-see attractions: The Sanary casino is 4 minutes away by car, the Musée National de la Marine is 16 minutes away, the Fort de Six-Fours is 18 minutes away, the Château du diable is 13 minutes away, the Muséum départemental du Var is 15 minutes away, the Tour de la rade de Toulon is 17 minutes away and many more... The beaches are 1.5km away, take a short trip to the tourist office which is 8 minutes away by car to find out about all the activities not to be missed during your stay. The area is very popular with locals and tourists alike, so don't hesitate to ask me for some good addresses - I'll be delighted to share my favourites with you!
## Emplacement
San Nari is the Provençal name of Saint Nazaire, a Roman martyr from the 1st century AD, to whom a place of worship was dedicated in the Middle Ages in what is now Sanary. A hamlet on the Mediterranean coast, sheltered by the seigniorial tower built around 1300, Saint-Nazaire took off in the 16th century. The port of Sanary is recognised as one of the most typical and authentic on the French Mediterranean coast. A very old natural harbour, located in the heart of the town, it boasts around a hundred heritage boats, the oldest dating back to 1895, including the famous Provençal "pointus". A village turned towards the sea, Sanary was also home to some of the greatest names in German culture: Thomas Mann, Heinrich Mann, Klaus Mann, Erika Mann, Lion Feuchtwanger, Arnold Zweig, Franz Hessel... all lived in Sanary-sur-Mer between 1933 and 1942. The seafront esplanade, lighthouses, piers... all offer picturesque views of the port and village.
