You can feel the Mediterranean atmosphere the moment you walk through the door. Our motto is a love for the sea and nature. Our well-kept home is located in the town of Jávea (Alicante); it faces south and offers the peace and quiet of being away from the hustle and bustle of tourism, yet is just 6 minutes from the most highly rated beaches on the Costa Blanca. The house features three cozy, bright bedrooms, each equipped with spacious closets for your comfort. There are two full bathrooms, one of which is an en suite with the master bedroom and includes a bathtub, making it easy for six people to stay together comfortably. The kitchen features a newly installed glass-ceramic stove and oven, along with a convenient utility area equipped with a washer and dryer. The living room immerses you in a nautical-themed decor and features a glass-enclosed balcony where you can relax with a book or hang up wet laundry. Taking a refreshing dip in the pool and parking your car in the private parking lot saves you a lot of hassle. Ducted air conditioning is available.
Our home is located in the wonderful town of Jávea, which consists of three urban centers:
-In town (all within walking distance from home): you can enjoy the farmers’ market with all the local produce, an exquisite lunch at El Mercat, and delicious dishes at El Trinquet. There are plenty of fashion and home decor shops, as well as great restaurants. Right next door is the health center, and nearby are the library, city hall, and the church.
-Port (6-minute drive): if you like beaches with pebbles and rocks, you’ll really enjoy this one. Notable is La Grava beach in the port, where you can buy fresh fish daily, have breakfast at Cala Bandida, or enjoy an exquisite paella at El Sotavent, along with various diving services, shops, a movie theater, an outdoor summer cinema, and boat rentals. It has a yacht club that offers sailing courses and various water sports activities. The Church of Our Lady of Loreto is beautiful, with its unique ship-shaped interior. El Puerto is connected to El Arenal by a delightful seaside promenade that runs along Playa del Montañar, featuring a highly recommended pedestrian and bike path (approx. 2 km). If you visit in June, you’ll experience the San Juan festivities in town. If you come in July, enjoy the Moors and Christians festivities in the port, and if you visit in September, the La Mar festivities in the port.
-Finally, in the Arenal area (a 7-minute drive away), you’ll find a long sandy beach with playgrounds, and for lunch, dinner, or a drink, there are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, and clothing stores—all with fantastic ocean views. The famous Siesta, Bambula, Cala Clemence… or Granadella Beach with its incredible crystal-clear waters and La Barraca, where a canoe ride will be unforgettable. You can enjoy scuba diving, boat trips, walks along Cape San Martí, Cala Sardinera, Cala Blanca, Llop Marí, or a visit to Cape La Nao and Los Órganos. There are so many coves that you’ll have a hard time choosing.
And if you’re in the mood for a sunset horseback ride through our Montgó, past the windmills, or a visit to Cova Tallà, it’s a must-do if you love nature and hiking.
Nearby are the towns of Denia (15 min), with a large town center where you can visit the castle and the harbor area, featuring promenades, shops, and restaurants; Moraira (20 min), with beautiful beaches; Ondara (20 min), where you’ll find a shopping center (Portal de la Marina) and the Marina Alta Hospital. Calpe (30 min), with its imposing Peñón de Ifach. The charming town of Altea (35 min), with its whitewashed historic center, and Benidorm (45 min), home to the theme parks Aqua Natura, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia.
