We came to Austin to attend a football game. The property was as described and around a 30 minute walk to the stadium. While we did have problems with a couple of things when we first arrived at the property, Danny and Rosalia responded promptly and corrected everything. Danny followed up several times during our stay. They were great hosts. I would stay here again.

The host, Danny, was an excellent communicator & host, he was attentive & prompt. He promised to address the problems I told him about.
The house itselfturned out quite different from what we expected from the listing description and pics. One bedroom was outside the house in another building. We had a huge rainstorm & there’s no umbrella so it would have been a disaster to come back into the house overnight to pee. We would have used the couch instead (twin futon per the listing) but it’s actually a mini ikea type couch & not big enough to sleep.
The listing boasted a jetted bathtub & hot tub, neither of which exist. These could be oversights but these are part of what enticed us to book at the nightly rate.
The house did feel & smell clean.
The kitchen is new and clean, although it lacks a dishwasher so that feels gross because who knows how other renters clean dishes before you.
The first impression is a front door that has to be body slammed to open. The shower handles fell off in our hands. It was fine but I wish I’d known those things before booking.
The neighborhood is clearly transitioning so it wasn’t unsafe but a motion light at the carport would have gone a long way toward comfort & security.
