Welcome to Paws & Pines, a comfortable and family-friendly home located in Ellsworth, Maine. Set in a quiet neighborhood, the home offers plenty of space for families, friend groups, and guests traveling with pets. Whether you're spending your days hiking in Acadia, exploring the coast, or simply relaxing around the firepit, the home is designed to feel comfortable, practical, and easy to settle into during your stay.
The home has four bedrooms spread across two levels, making it a great setup for larger groups. Downstairs, one bedroom includes a queen bed, while the second downstairs bedroom features two twin bunk beds that work well for kids, teens, or extra guests. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed and cozy spaces to relax after a day out exploring.
The living room is warm and inviting with comfortable seating, a TV, and a collection of games for family nights, rainy afternoons, or relaxing evenings at home. It's a great central space for everyone to gather together after a day of sightseeing or outdoor adventures.
The kitchen includes the essentials needed for cooking meals during your stay, along with a nearby dining area where everyone can sit together comfortably. Whether you're making breakfast before heading to Acadia or winding down with dinner at the end of the day, the space is functional and welcoming.
There are two full bathrooms in the home, with one located upstairs and one downstairs. Both bathrooms include a standing shower, toilet, and sink. Please note there are no bathtubs in the home.
One of the best parts of the property is the spacious backyard. Guests can enjoy evenings around the fire pit, relax outdoors, or let pets enjoy the open space. The backyard adds to the quiet and laid-back atmosphere of the property and gives guests extra room to spread out and enjoy their time in Maine.
The location makes it easy to explore many of the area's most popular attractions. Acadia National Park is within driving distance and offers hiking trails, scenic overlooks, carriage roads, lakes, and coastline views. Bar Harbor is also nearby and is a favorite destination for shopping, restaurants, whale watching tours, and waterfront walks.
Downtown Ellsworth has local coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, grocery stores, and family-friendly activities, making it convenient for longer stays as well. Guests can also explore nearby parks, lakes, and walking trails throughout the area.
Please note that the home does not have air conditioning. Like many homes in coastal Maine, the cooler evenings and fresh air usually keep the home comfortable during the warmer months.

Great location for staying with our dog. Pet bowls, treats, beds, and more are readily available, not to mention a ton of leashes in case you needed to borrow one. Location was great to downtown and only 30 30-minute drive to Arcadia! The neighborhood was clean and walkable for our pup - recommend bringing a basketball as the courts are right next door!

Stayed with my family including two dogs. The house was both very clean and comfortable. Great location and great stay for the dogs. Would love to return in the future.

The house had great light and accommodated 7 of us very comfortably. Everything was very clean.
The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. We didn’t do much cooking, but we could have. I appreciate sharp knives and glasses for water to champagne.
There were plenty of extra bed linens for each bed for those who wanted extra pillows or blankets.
We needed to be between Bangor and Bar Harbor, so the location was ideal on a quiet street.
My son enjoyed using the track field across the street to workout in the mornings.
I would highly recommend this house, it has all the qualities you’re looking for in a VRBO
