We had a great stay and were welcomed very kindly by the owner. He was very helpful and adequate with solving an issue. We stayed in one of the 3 gites and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The playroom is shared with the other gites but is very welcome for evening activities.The gite was a bit damp because of the weather, but with a bit of cleaning it was not an issue.

House was clean and all inclusive ( fridge- dishwasher- microwave- oven- 3 spacy bedrooms. Good beds. Nice bathroom. Enough garden area to eat and play with the dog. Owner speaks English very well and is very helpfull.

Just perfect. As a family of 4 with both girls in their twenties we needed space and this was just right. Location couldn’t be better for a visit to this part of Normandy, in a week we comfortably did D Day locations, Mont St Michael and Swiss Normandy! Host is also friendly and knowledgeable

Lovely and peaceful, not a sound from the surroundings except for the wildlife. Great night time view of the stars. Excellent games room facilities, couldn't keep the boys out. The building was lovely and cool inside after a hot day outside. Just a few minutes away from A84 motorway with access to Mont St Michel in about an hour. Lovely hosts, Jean Pierre very helpful.

This is the best place to stay in Normandie. The house close to the beautiful Chateau, the wonderful garden and the proximity to the touristic attractions and beach together with the warm welcome of Jean Pierre made our stay in Rangy perfect. We had a very nice 2-week stay in the gite. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the surrounding offers a lot to see and visit. We did some canoe & cayak and stand-up-paddling on the Ordonne as well as garden and castle visits, fabulous beaches are within 40 min by car - what more could you wish for. Evenings in the quiet little garden of the gites are priceleess too of course :)

We had a great time at Château de Ragny. The Gite is very nice and was very comfortable for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The location is very good for touring Normandy if you have a car and want to stay at one place. Jean Pierre was very welcoming and helpful through out the booking process and during our stay. Two points you want to be aware of are: 1. the refrigerator is mini-bar size and not a full size fridge and 2. the unit has two floors and the stairs are a bit steep, we did not have a problem with them, but if think it might be difficult to someone in your party, take that into account. All in all we had a great time at the place and whole wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is a wonderful spot. The Castle is 25 minutes for the Beaches, one hour and fifteen minutes from Mont St. Michel, and 10 minutes to Villers-Bocage where you will find a well equipped grocery store (Carrefour) and boutique bakeries and shops. Jean Pierre is a lovely man who went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. There are three apartments in the Git. Ours had three bedrooms - two with twin beds and one with a double bed - on the second floor, along with one and a half baths. The ground floor is open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen. There are enterances front and back with the back leading to a grass lawn and pick nick table. Beyond the grass are the working fields with a small family of cows that we never smelled. The grounds are lovely with gardens, the historic Romanesque gate and private Chapel. The center of the gate has a large game room with ping pong, pool table, fooz ball and pinball. Our kids loved this room. We don't speak French but Jean Pierre knew enough to communicate clearly. Recommend this property.

My review will never be adequate to the one this place deserves. Traveling with three friends this charming cottage was the ideal location to explore all Normandy has to offer. Although, a car would be required for this location, it is well worth it. Jean Pierre was an exceptional host and the grounds are a beautiful way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. If you are considering multiple options in the area, pick this one. You won't regret ti!

We choose this place for our second week in Normandy. The place is lovely, quiet and Jean Pierre and his family very charm. You feel good in the place. The house is nice but what is more remarkable is the place. The game room is a plus for the kids!

The cottage is clean and well presented. It had everything we needed for a 2 week family (2 teen boys) holiday. It is located within easy driving distance of the DDay coast and must see attractions such as Mont St Michel and the Bayeux tapestry. The outside space was great for lounging and soaking up the sun or impromptu games of badminton. We made good use of the games room in the evenings - the boys actually put down their gadgets to beat the parents at pool and table tennis! We didn't realise that the only tv is in the communal games room but this wasn't an issue as we only wanted it to check the weather. Jean Pierre is a very amenable host without being intrusive and offered tons of useful information on places to visit. He could often be seen around the Château but respected our privacy. We would return.
