Treat your family to a getaway they will never forget at The Bower House. This newly updated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Fayetteville charmer sits just steps from the natural wonders and beauty of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.

The Bower House is a three bedroom, two bathroom, ranch style home. Outside features plenty of off street parking, front porch with chairs, back porch with chairs, large fenced in backyard with a soccer net, a fire pit with wood included, a grill, and various outdoor games. Inside the home, a newly renovated interior creates ease of cooking, sleeping, and getting ready. The kitchen consists of new appliances such as a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and 2 in 1 coffee pot and single serve. There are plenty of plates and glassware. The kitchen has a breakfast nook that seats four. The formal dining room seats seven. The front living room is a unique space to relax with plenty of natural light and has a piano. The second living room consists of a 55” flat screen smart tv, books, games, sectional couch and recliners, and informational guides. Bedroom one is the master queen suite. The master bathroom has a walk in shower. Bedroom two has a queen bed, and is across the hallway from the master suite. Bedroom three has a full size bed. Each bedroom has a dresser, nightstand, and closet. The main bathroom has a bathtub/shower. The home includes all linens, Wifi, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer/dryer.

The Bower house is adjacent to the Fayetteville Town Park which features a half mile paved fitness trail, basketball courts, picnic shelters, playgrounds, splash park, skate park, pump track, baseball/softball fields, and direct access to the National Park Service hiking trails. There are activities for all ages at the Fayetteville Town Park.
Downtown Fayetteville is approximately 0.5 miles away featuring local restaurants and shops. Downtown can be easily accessed by driving or walking via sidewalk.
Other activities in the area include golf at Bridge Haven Golf Club on the Gorge (13 minute drive), bowling at Pinheads Bowling Alley (14 minute drive), Bridge Walk (5 minute drive), many hiking/biking trails, and thrilling activities such as whitewater rafting, zip lining, aerial adventure courses, and much more. The house was roomy, the decor pleasing, and it was stocked with all of the essentials. The host responded quickly to any questions. I enjoyed the location, handy to the New River Gorge National Park and the restaurants in Fayetteville. We had everything we need to cook, except food but the Kroger was just down the road. I would definitely stay there again!

This was one of the best places we have stayed at. The owners have thought of everything to make you comfortable. This is an excellent location from which to explore and hike the New River Gorge area. Plus good restaurants and bars. The host was very responsive and communicative.
