Host & Stay - Station View

Location was very good and is an excellent position for visitors to stay for access to the town, beach and the train station. Lots of nice places to eat here and was nice to try out Betty's Bagels which I'd been following on social media. We have family in Saltburn so needed a place to stay for a wedding we were attending. The house was well equipped and clean. Beds were comfy and we had a lovely welcome gift which was much appreciated, thank you.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. If I had to say anything, maybe the cushions on the sofa might need to be changed as they seem to be well used. Just a thought. Also, we much appreciated the supply of tea, coffee and sugar but maybe a pint of milk would be a nice touch for future guests. We just had to nip out for milk after arriving to make a cuppa.

It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The property is in a perfect location close to the station and the town.

The ideal location, close to all amenities. Liked the fact the accommodation had both a power shower as well as a bath.

The bars in the area can get a bit too rowdy on a Friday and Saturday. Could have done with a washing line to hang washing up outside. There was a clothes airer, but when there are 4 people sometimes it isn't enough.

First impressions were brilliant: spotlessly clean and tidy, with such a warm welcome – homemade cake and jam, plus tea, coffee, milk and sugar all ready to go. Such lovely thoughtful touches! The house is immaculate: bright, airy and spacious, yet feels really cosy and comfortable. Every room has everything you could need – the lounge, bedrooms, and especially the kitchen, which is fully stocked with all utensils and appliances. The bathroom is a real highlight! My partner loves a good bath, and the shower was powerful and perfectly set up – a total delight. We also loved the private courtyard garden: comfortable seating under a large parasol, ideal for relaxing with a cuppa in the fresh air. The electronic guide is fantastic – well laid out and packed with useful local tips and information. Location-wise, it’s perfect: shops, cafes and amenities are literally just steps away. Honestly, there’s almost nothing to criticise – it’s pretty much perfect.
