Artsbank had everything we needed, a comfy bed
a well equipped kitchen and a flat screen TV plus all facilities including a washing machine and a dishwasher. It was also in a prime location
in the town, with great cafes and bars on the doorstep, we had a lovely stay.
Only the stairs up.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, the en suite to one of the bedrooms was a bonus as we didn't realise there was one.
The apartment is in an excellent location situated on the main road through the town, with some lovely bars, cafes and shops as well as a supermarket conveniently located nearby.
Parking was never a problem and all the on street parking is free, if we didn't get parked right outside the door then we were less than a minutes walk away.
The beach was only a five minute walk away although be prepared for a steep climb back up the steps, also some lovely walks in the nearby valley country park which picks up the Cleveland way, my dog had the best time exploring on woodland walks and along the side of Skelton beck.
For an alternative beach walk, Marske is only 5 minutes drive again with free parking for upto 4 hours, or you could walk there in about 40 minutes, Redcar is another couple of miles north of Marske with more chance of walking on the beach
The host was great at communicating before, during and after our stay, we will definitely be looking at returning next year

apartment was great containing all that was needed
key box was next door and took us about 10 minutes to locate
we were not warned that there were 4 flights of stairs. i am 82 so struggled with suitcases and access to and fro
central heating not working so we had to call someone to fix it
Bed too low, struggled to get out
