Greeted at front door by the housekeeper, shown to my room on top floor, with views to the coast and across the bay to Heysham. Flexible breakfast time requested later as my reason for choosing the B&B was its proximity to Ford Park parkrun (4mins walk downhill) at 9am the following morning. En-suite bedroom with separate lounge area with comfortable settee & TV. Peace & quiet. Enough time from 3pm check in to walk up and around Hoad Hill monument. The breakfast was served in dining area, sideboard beautifully displayed a selection of fresh cut fruits, muesli, nuts & seeds, plain yoghurt. Cooked food available with toast for guests if wanted. Quality china and cutlery at the table. 10* for hospitality & service; I shall be returning. Thankyou. Rosemary H. N. Cumbria.

Beautiful house, interesting furnishings and artifacts, lovely garden, excellent breakfasts with fresh and local produce, warm and welcoming staff. Bed was extremely comfortable, powerful shower and excellent spa bath.

Great breakfasts. Good old fashioned service. Quiet homely and comfortable while being quirky and different from boring hotel rooms.

Nice cooked breakfast and selection of food.

Room in attic roof too low down in many places toilet tight squeeze .Room very musty smell too much clutter for a guest facility . Needs declutterring and a proper clean. Stairs should be mentioned a lot of them .
