The view was amazing, we felt totally at home. A nice balcony with a braai and some insanely comfortable furniture was the cherry on top. Oh, and the shower! Needless to say my husband will need to do some remodeling after our stay, I want a shower as big as this one!

Location was great .Close to everything we wanted to see .
The lift to the 4th floor was not accessible and we had to carry our luggage from the 3rd floor to the fourth floor.We did this again on check out.

The host, Annelie, was excellent. She was proactive with communication, messaging us in advance, and made the check-in process smooth. The unit itself is very spacious, and we particularly appreciated the large bathroom. Practicalities were also covered well: the WiFi was fast and reliable, and the kitchen was fully equipped, including a large fridge which is often missing in these types of units.
Unfortunately, the maintenance and cleaning standards did not match the service.
• Hygiene: The cleaning checklist was definitely missed in the bathroom. We found a hair tie wrapped in clumps of hair left by a previous guest on the shower mixer handle. This made the whole unit feel unclean.
• Air Conditioning: The AC unit was non-functional. Despite trying every mode and setting, it blew no cold air. Given the high humidity in December, this made the room very uncomfortable.
• Maintenance: The side door leading to the outside area jams tightly into the door frame. Because the AC was broken, we had to open this door for airflow, but it was a daily struggle to force it open and closed.

Good location for where I had to be.
A lot of stairs and far walk to get to the flat. Main bedroom window could not be opened as it faces the corridor and no security bars in place.
