Located in a, quiet, residential area of Brighton, there's good access to the lake and a couple of decent places to eat within a 15 minute walk.
The kitchen area was a bit basic. There was a singke ring to cook food, but no pans, unless we overlooked something.

Lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely decor. Very clean and fresh. Well stocked kitchen and coffee bar. Easy independent access with good instructions. Mattress was very comfy. Great communication with owner, who was very flexible!
We are used to a king sized bed at home, so found the double (?) bed small but that was my mistake because I didn’t check that. With two bedrooms, we could have slept in the twin beds in the second room, so it is nice to have that option!

Easy to access, private, close to birding locations, host responsive to questions and very helpful, facilities clean, everything provided that you need for a short stay.
Although we loved the new chesterfield as opposed to the huge old one, the bench opposite wasn’t very comfortable but was really the only choice to have a conversation with folk on the sofa. A small chair instead maybe?

The neighbourhood was quiet, near the lake, not too far for us to attend an event nearby. Access was easy using a code. The apartment was clean. The bathroom was bright and well supplied. There were lots of pillows in the bedroom.
Some of the furniture is dated and very dark. The lighting could be improved, the apartment is in the basement and is quite dark. The twin beds were very low and quite uncomfortable.
