Sannat Hills Farmhouse

The pool is beautiful and location of the farmhouse is great. Parking in the area is easy as well.

Lacking maintenance on certain items, like broken plugs and faucets not working. Also lacking many cutlery.

The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful, without a doubt one of the best I've ever stayed in. It's tastefully designed, spacious, and offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Every room is equipped with air conditioning, and each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The location is great, with plenty of parking available nearby, making it very easy to access. Self check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the hosts provided clear instructions.

Upon arrival, we found that the farmhouse had not been cleaned to the expected standard, especially after paying €600+ for 2 nights. The floors were dusty, and we found cigarette butts behind a bedside table and a used napkin under one of the beds. The host explained that pest control had been carried out that morning, which I understand is sometimes necessary, but this should have been communicated before our arrival, especially since the floors could not be cleaned afterwards (I know this from experience). The response was simply an apology, which felt insufficient given the circumstances. We also experienced a faulty pool pump which resulted in two electricity interruptions during our stay. Although someone was sent promptly to resolve the issue, he entered the property without knocking or ringing the doorbell, which we found inappropriate. Communication was also difficult due to the language barrier.

Lovely pool super comfortable and super equipped

Information re BBQ - is charcoal and we needed to get if we knew before hand could have arranged. Washing machine didn't work properly. One of the bedrooms leads into the other. But otherwise lovely stay and super farmhouse

Beautiful pool area, gorgeous old maltese tiles and features. Downstairs is renovated nicely. Wifi available throughout and ac in all rooms. Nice terraces and patios for 2 of the bedrooms. Located in a quite area, close to the church.

Had confirmation to check in at 2 but was told when we got there check in was at 3:30. We were graciously allowed in but cleaning wasn't ready so we had to stay in our rooms upstairs. The outdoor pool shower is not operational and this makes things messy. Outdoor area has some uneven and unsafe tiles. Wooden beams cover came off in external yard and would have caused serious injury. No one came to check even after I informed them. We were awoken at 7:30am on Saturday by the meter reader with no previous warning. To get water pressure we had to switch on the pump and we were not informed of this until after I complained. Amenities mentioned such as coffee maker were not there. No info available that one of the bedrooms was accessible through either climbing through an altered window onto a cute patio or through another bedroom. For older adults this caused a challenge especially since it rained during our stay. Some lighting fixtures are in need of replacing or not fully operational
