Fantastic and glorious stay in a unique place.

A fantastic self-contained pod, within stunning views down to the sea. It is very close to the centre of Tobermory, and perfectly placed for trips out around the island. Its location makes you feel that you are on a real adventure, but with the reassurance of the owners near by. Martin and his daughter were very responsive when I couldn’t get the hot water right (my fault!). I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I was fine with it, but the kitchen is not intended to be a place you can whip up a three course meal, the hob and combo oven / microwave were fine for me and there are some takeaways in the town, and places to eat (not so many in off-season).

A lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Mull and looking for a cute, cozy getaway.

Great location to Tobermory. Hut is much larger than expected with separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen area. Well heated. Cozy.

Could’ve done with a few more cooking utensils (wooden spoon/sieve/large bowl) for cooking.

Fantastic accommodation within walking distance of Tobermory. Very clean and has everything that is needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit the Isle of Mull, as it provides a good base for travelling around.

We very much enjoyed staying at the Hidden Hut and seeing Tobermory.

Stayed 5 nights towards the end of September. Very convenient for Tobermory-5 to 10 mins walk away. Had everything we needed comfort-wise. Despite the unusually severe Storm Amy cutting off the electricity for 36 hours-so shops/pubs closed, phones stopped working and heating went off - we had a great time. Locals said it was the worst storm they could remember. We liked Tobermory a lot. Spent over an hour in the little museum there which was fascinating. Would have done the short walk to the lighthouse but the storm stopped us. The buses were very convenient. Normally, we do a lot of walking , but the storm stopped us doing this this time. The owner, Elaine took us for a coffee and cake on the second day of the storm at the cheese farm shop which was very nice of her and much appreciated. She also brought us 2 charged-up lights as the lights went out when the power on the island failed because of the storm.

Excellent and huge pod. I liked everything!

Just a minor thing, the toilet seat doesn't quite fit and moved around. Also I'd recommend one a little bit bigger pot to boil pasta. But this is so little. It would just make the place perfect.

The hidden hut is very cosy and a steep but otherwise short and easy walk from Tobermory harbour. It was a great base for exploring this part of Mull.

Very adequate for our needs - but we did have wonderful weather!!

The view from the veranda was stunning!! The shower was lovely. The little kitchen was just perfect for our requirements.

There did not appear to be a socket within reach of a mirror so I could plug in my hair dryer and see what I was doing...... We were two friends travelling together and therefore required separate beds (using the additional sofa bed in the lounge). This pod would be better for a couple who share a bed.

Really liked staying here, a few tweaks and it would be excellent! Would recommend.

It was warm and cosy. Lots of bird calls and nature to enjoy. Large shower, good sized bed and good kitchen with decent sized fridge. Short walk into Tobermory.

No teabags only 2 coffee pods for 3nights stay. No tea towels or cooking utensils.

De hut was als basis heel erg mooi. Een ruime badkamer, slaapkamer woonkamer en keuken De locatie zo dicht bi Tobermory was geweldig. Het uitzicht was erg mooi en rustig

In het keukentje kon je zelfs geen simpele maaltijd klaarmaken omdat er alleen 2 kleine steelpannetjes en klein koekepannetje aanwezig was. Geen scherpe messen , geen broodmes . Zelfs geen vaatdoekje om de aaanrecht schoon te maken. De barkrukken te hoog om zonder knoeien te eten . In de badkamer nergens iets om handdoek aan op te hangen of toilettas neer te zetten. Als je de eerste keer aankomt ziet het er heel anders ( minder mooi) uit omdat je niet verwacht dat je ook aankijkt tegen de blinde muur van een huis én een parkeerplaats voor een paar auto s. Dat zou vermeldt moeten worden. Wij hadden er geen probleem mee omdat het te koud was om buiten te zitten. Aangezien deze kritiek al vaker is geuit begrijp ik niet dat de eigenaar deze simpele aanvullingen nog niet heeft uitgevoerd.

Prachtige ruime locatie met veel privacy.

In het koffiezetapparaat zaten nog cups van de vorige huurder. Er was maar 1 grote handdoek beschikbaar en één van de borden was nog vies. Er was geen theedoek of afgewassen servies mee af te drogen. Dat zijn de puntjes ter verbetering.
