A fantastic self-contained pod, within stunning views down to the sea. It is very close to the centre of Tobermory, and perfectly placed for trips out around the island. Its location makes you feel that you are on a real adventure, but with the reassurance of the owners near by.
Martin and his daughter were very responsive when I couldn’t get the hot water right (my fault!). I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
I was fine with it, but the kitchen is not intended to be a place you can whip up a three course meal, the hob and combo oven / microwave were fine for me and there are some takeaways in the town, and places to eat (not so many in off-season).

Great location to Tobermory.
Hut is much larger than expected with separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen area.
Well heated.
Cozy.
Could’ve done with a few more cooking utensils (wooden spoon/sieve/large bowl) for cooking.

De hut was als basis heel erg mooi. Een ruime badkamer, slaapkamer woonkamer en keuken
De locatie zo dicht bi Tobermory was geweldig.
Het uitzicht was erg mooi en rustig
In het keukentje kon je zelfs geen simpele maaltijd klaarmaken omdat er alleen 2 kleine steelpannetjes en klein koekepannetje aanwezig was. Geen scherpe messen , geen broodmes . Zelfs geen vaatdoekje om de aaanrecht schoon te maken.
De barkrukken te hoog om zonder knoeien te eten . In de badkamer nergens iets om handdoek aan op te hangen of toilettas neer te zetten.
Als je de eerste keer aankomt ziet het er heel anders ( minder mooi) uit omdat je niet verwacht dat je ook aankijkt tegen de blinde muur van een huis én een parkeerplaats voor een paar auto s. Dat zou vermeldt moeten worden. Wij hadden er geen probleem mee omdat het te koud was om buiten te zitten.
Aangezien deze kritiek al vaker is geuit begrijp ik niet dat de eigenaar deze simpele aanvullingen nog niet heeft uitgevoerd.
