Best place we stayed on our Scotland tour

It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a fantastic location for exploring Tobermory and indeed the rest of Mull. The host was amazing and her tips and advice made our stay even better. She also ensured we had everything we needed. Mull is beautiful and well worth a visit, I highly recommend Strome Beag, very welcoming and relaxing

Excellent value for money. Would stay again

Lynne, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Gave us a tour of the property and was always happy to advise on places to go and things to do and see. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and well equipped with pots, pans, glasses, plates etc. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet at night enabling a peaceful night's sleep.

Not much. It was only a short walk down to the harbour and shops, but it was down quite a steep hill so people with limited mobility might find that difficult. On the other hand, there is free parking at the harbour car park - 2 mins drive.

Welcoming and friendly

Comfortable and convenient - the beds were comfy, the couch was great for curling up on, the kitchen was really useful. Lynn was so lovely and did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed her hospitality and Mull as a whole. Thank you!

Lynn the owner is an amazing host, lovely, friendly, kind helpful and gives you lots of information and tips to make your stay more enjoyable. You feel like you know her well, just like a dear friend or family member. The accommodation is beautiful, has everything you need for self catering, comfy bed, great shower. It's lovely and bright, clean, cosy with lots of beautiful Isle of Mull pictures and touches throughout. It's in a great location. Highly recommend Strome Beag and Lynn is just the best! Hope to return sometime. 🙂

Perfect place for a couple on a 5 night stay on Mull

Such a welcoming hostess! She took a great interest in us and treated us like her family! Comfy bed, pleasant bathroom with good spaces to put things, all mod cons in the kitchen so we could cook a meal. Had use of the owners washing machine, even able to hang washing on the line, finishing it off on a clothes horse inside. Quiet. Very homely and lovely art on the walls, with tasteful decoration and ornaments depicting the Isle of Mull. Information about walks and things to do.

The accommodation was fabulous. Everything you needed and lovely touches with Isle of Mull soap and biscuits. Well equipped and comfy beds. Lynn the owner is so lovely, welcoming and worth getting some tips from to make the most of your stay on Mull.

Perfect location, accommodation and host

Great holiday flat in a fantastic location. Lynn was the perfect host and so helpful throughout our stay. The flat is tastefully decorated and has everything we needed for our stay. Tobermory is an amazing location with good pubs and restaurants, and ideal for exploring the Isle of Mull and its surroundings.

Cosy & comfortable flat, v handy for centre of Tobermory

Very comfortable beds - flat v cosy and everything very clean/new. A lot of thought and hard work gone into furnishing and looking after guests, Lynn was super helpful.

Noisy immersion heater which woke us up v early - but hopefully this will be tweaked soon, don’t want that to put people off! Think the thermostat was set a bit high.

What an excellent place this is. Extremely homely, very comfortable and with the amenities we required. Nicely situated in Tobermory, for facilities and as a place to explore from. Linda, the hostess, was amazing - friendly, helpful and lovely to chat with. Pre-arrival she called to chat about the island, and gave us excellent advice on how best to see everywhere. Got the distinct feeling nothing would have been too much trouble!

Everything! The property was spotless and SO comfortable, situated very near the main street on the first main level of houses up from sea level, and Lynn was the most attentive host!

The host was so friendly and helpful. She had thought of everything in the property, even leaving milk, tea bags, coffee and local biscuits as a welcome gesture. The accommodation was roomy and a home from home. The cost of the stay was also excellent value.

Exceptional host. We took the last bus to Tobermory in late Nov and reached at 6+ pm. Lynn came down to the bus terminal and fetched us to the accomodation. The place is extremely cozy, the beds are super comfortable especially after a long day of hike.

Really comfortable accomodation, very clean and has everything you need. The host is warm, friendly and very helpful. The scenery is breathtaking and lots to do on the island (between Easter and end of October) would still be a lovely holiday out of season if you wanted a relaxing time. A great base to explore Mull

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Lynne is a great host and keeps the flat clean, comfortable and cosy. The flat has everything in place to ensure a trouble free vacation. Lynne was always on hand if required to answer any questions we had. All in all the whole break went smoothly and this is a terrific flat in which to spend time in after exploring Mull. We hope to return again soon to Mull and we wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

The host is very friendly & helpful and location in Tobermory is good. Parking right outside the property is useful. The bed was very comfortable. Hot water is always available. The twin bedded room is a good size. The accommodation is well decorated and spotless throughout.

We thought the double bedroom and the shower cubicle were a little small.
