The level of hospitality and genuine care completely exceeded my expectations. The staff were always ready with the best recommendations, which was helpful. The location is good too. Everything is within easy walking distance, and the surrounding area stays vibrant until late. Whether you are looking for food, drinks, rooftop bars, shopping, sightseeing, or easy access to the train and tram, everything you need is right at your doorstep. I highly recommend staying here!

Do not stay here! The front office is only interested in making as much money from you as they can. They have an itemized list with charges for everything ie damage a cup $10. We had an issue and they did absolutely nothing to help in a fair or equitable way. Horrific client service.

We stayed at Downtown Sirkeci as a family of four in conjoined rooms. The room are as depicted in the online photos, very clean and functional. If you are a first time traveller to Istanbul I would highly recommend staying at the Downtown Sirkeci hotel, it is located walking distance to the main historical sites, with plenty of dining options available. The tram and metro line is a few steps away, as well as Eminonu ferry port, which you can use to access the other parts of Istanbul via the Bosphorus. The buffet breakfast that is provided at the hotel is splendid with plenty of options to choose from. I would also like to say that the staff was very helpful and polite and made our stay extra special.

Room is so small, tight for an average standard room. I stayed at Shining Star hotel the previous days, their room is way way way bigger and better.
