Hotel Erboy

Helpful front desk and customer service staff. Able to provide good recommendations and insights for attractions. Room is clean. Near tram station. Walking distance to Topeka palace. One tram station to Hagia Sophia / blue mosque . Quiet neighbourhood at night but safe.

This hotel was highly recommended by 2 different friends. Had originally planned to stay at another hotel from which our tour was starting but our friends said Hotel Erboy was in a better location. And they were right. Walking distance to the main sites and the tram stop is on the corner for exploring further afield. Train further down the street in the other direction too. Good view from rooftop restaurant (and I had a great vegetarian meal there too). Good variety for included breakfast. Staff very helpful especially the concierge who made great recommendations and booked the hamman for us. Laundry expensive but they directed us to a cheaper local business. Room was compact but blissfully quiet. Overall ticked my 4 C’s. Comfortable, central, clean and (c)quiet.

قضيت ليلتين في فندق Erboy Hotel في شهر يناير. وبسبب برودة الجو، ما خرجتش كتير من الفندق، فكانت أغلب تجربتي داخل الفندق نفسه. بشكل عام، الفندق يقدم تجربة 4 نجوم جيدة جدًا ويُعتبر اختيار مناسب للإقامة في إسطنبول. الأوضة كانت واسعة ومريحة ومجهزة كويس، وفيها كل الاحتياجات الأساسية بشكل عملي ومنظم. النظافة والصيانة كانوا بمستوى جيد وواضح إنه مناسب سواء لإقامة قصيرة أو متوسطة. الفطار كان من أقوى نقاط الفندق؛ تنوعه كويس جدًا وكان في اختلاف بسيط بين يوم والتاني، وجودة الأكل والمكونات كانت عالية وثابتة، وده خلّى تجربة الفطار من أفضل أجزاء الإقامة. طاقم العمل بشكل عام كان محترم ومتعاون في التعامل اليومي، وفيه لمسة ضيافة لطيفة زي تقديم الشاي في اللوبي، وده كان لطيف خصوصًا مع الجو البارد. النقطة السلبية الوحيدة كانت تعامل غير مريح من أحد موظفي الاستقبال بخصوص طلب تأخير تسجيل الخروج (late check-out)، حيث كان الأسلوب غير مرن ومش احترافي بالشكل الكافي، رغم إن الفندق كان باين إنه مش زحمة وقتها. وكمان كان في رد غير مناسب لما سألت عن مكان قريب للصلاة، وكان ممكن يترد بشكل ألطف وأكثر احترامًا. بعيدًا عن الموقف ده، التجربة بشكل عام كانت جيدة جدًا، والفندق يقدم قيمة ممتازة مقابل السعر، وبيجمع بين الراحة والغرف الجيدة والفطار الممتاز، وده بيخليه اختيار قوي في إسطنبول. I stayed at Erboy Hotel for two nights in January. Due to the cold weather, I did not spend much time outside the hotel, so most of my experience was within the property itself. Overall, the hotel offers a solid 4-star experience and is a very good choice for a stay in Istanbul. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with good utilities and practical amenities. Everything felt well maintained and suitable for both short and slightly longer stays. The breakfast was excellent, with noticeable variety from one day to another. The quality of the ingredients and food items was consistently high, which made it one of the highlights of the stay. The staff were generally polite, helpful, and professional in daily interactions. Small services like offering tea in the lobby were appreciated, especially given the cold weather during my stay. The only downside was an unpleasant interaction with a reception staff member regarding a late check-out request. The request was handled in a rather unaccommodating and unprofessional manner, despite the hotel not appearing fully occupied at the time. There was also an unhelpful response when asking for directions to a nearby place for prayer, which could have been handled in a more respectful way. Aside from this isolated issue, the overall experience was very good. The hotel provides good value, comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast, making it a strong option for staying in Istanbul.
