Riga Rooftop Boutique Apartment

Oikein siisti, tilava ja valoisa asunto. Kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Erinomainen ja upea sijainti, aivan vanhankaupunkin ytimessä. Hiljainen, vaikka alapihalla onkin ravintola. Meitä yöpyi 4 naista, viihdyimme! Kiitos!

Beautiful, large apartment on the 4th floor in the center of Old Town! We loved staying in and surrounded by UNESCO heritage architecture. The building is in a small courtyard with a restaurant and small grotto bar below the building. I loved being immersed in the Old Town vibe - tourist groups meeting for walking tours, locals meeting for coffee, bachelorette party girls getting together for a wild night before the wedding. The inside of the apartment was really great. There were just two of us, so the studio style layout with the bed behind a curtain was a good setup for us. The separate, well stocked kitchen allowed for early coffee/breakfast without disturbing my husband while he was sleeping. So appreciated the clothes washer and all needed washing supplies! I was surprised that there is a small theater on the 2nd floor of the building. There was only one evening there was a gathering. The band was playing and I anticipated it would be loud in our apartment, BUT we couldn't hear a thing! The windows and building materials prevented any sound from hearing the party below. And, it was fun to hear the local band enjoying a fun evening. Really lovely, comfortable space to stay in the heart of this incredible medieval city!

This was our favorite of six properties we stayed at on our recent trip. The apartment is super nice, and quite large. Extremely clean. In the heart of a very vibrant area.

Some travelers should keep in mind there are 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment. This was no problem for us, but could be for the physically challenged.
