Location perfect - bed comfortable, shower lovely, great having a washing machine - communication with property owners and information about property

Location was excellent and the feel of the accommodation was great.
Decoration was good and curtains in bedrooms felt very high quality.
Communication with management was quick and efficient.
No soap was provided in either the kitchen or bathroom
When we arrived a window had been left wide open in one of the bedrooms so the room was freezing!
No dishcloth provided
Some handles were wobbly on kitchen cupboards
Worktop was peeling in the kitchen
Pans were either badly scratched or not non stick
No glass bowls for use in food preparation
One of the pillows had an unpleasant smell like unwashed hair.

Spacious and close to the town centre

The apartment is in a very central location close to the town centre. It has large comfortable beds. Quiet at night. A short walk to the train station (15 minutes) and the sea front and coastal paths. Lots of independent shops in town.
The apartment sitting room is quite small (we were three people, it would be a squeeze to comfortably seat four). There is a small dining table between the kitchen and the lounge. The shower and heating stopped working one evening and so we had no hot water the following morning. The hosts responded quickly and it was fixed later that day. The TV had no terrestrial channels, Netflix and other streaming services (including BBC iPlayer) could only be used with your own password which we didn't have with us. There is a step from the downstairs boot room which we all tripped over several times. More information/guest book would have been helpful. Also couldn't figure out how to use the microwave. Place was a bit dusty. Limited cleaning materials (scourer etc) for daily use.
