Für eine Wellness Auszeit rund um Yoga genau das richtige. Es gibt ein tolles Yoga Program über den Tag verteilt, welches zugleich ausreichend Pausen erlaubt. Neben dem „klassischen“ Yoga, gibt es Meditationen, Bhakti Yoga, etc. Das Essen ist hervorragend und ein absolutes Highlight. Obst und Gemüse werden selbst im Hotel-Garten angebaut. Die Lage, circa 15 Minuten von Pokhara ist sehr ruhig, fernab vom Trubel der Stadt und ideal zum entspannen. Mit dem Taxi kommt man für 700NPR einfach in die Stadt. Geht man durch das Eingangstor des Hotels den Berg hinauf, kann man eine tolle eineinhalb stündige (eine Strecke) Wanderung mit tollen Ausblicken machen.

Nicht gefallen kann man nicht sagen, jedoch hatten wir bei ein paar Dingen eine andere Erwartung. Das Hotel ist auf Yoga Retreats und nicht den einfachen Hotel-Übernachtung-Frühstück ausgelegt, so gibt es keine Getränkeauswahl, keine Softdrinks, etc. Auch keine Möglichkeit diese separat zu kaufen. Wasser, Tee und Säfte stehen zur Verfügung. Der Rhythmus der Malzeiten orientiert sich am Yogaplan, sodass es Frühstück eigentlich erst gegen 10 Uhr gibt, auf Nachfrage aber auch früher. Das Duschwasser war leider immer ziemlich kühl.

This is a brand new facility that is extremely nice and continuing to get better as they build their mud pit and large foot bath. This booking only includes the room and food, but we upgraded to the full yoga package once we were there. I feel that without the yoga, I would likely get bored here as it's not that big and not easily accessible to the rest of Pokhara. The full yoga package is a lot of yoga and not the western yoga I'm used to. While there was an hour of asanas twice per day, but there was also a lot of meditation and breath work. The daily sound bath was wonderful. The place was a bit empty when we were there, so we felt awkward at times and over attended to, but this was probably just because we were the only ones there. I probably would've preferred to have more meals alone with my friend rather than staff, but it was nice to have them available to us. I personally struggled with not eating breakfast until 10am, but understand you don't want your belly full for yoga. If you wake up hungry like me, then bring some bars with you. I hope this place is successful in getting more people. I think if it were full, it would have an amazing vibe. The food and rooms were amazing and luxurious!
