The Cottage

Good location. There is lots of room . There are plenty of kettles and teapots should the need arise and the kitchen is well equipped. There is plenty of parking and the cottage is easy to find.

The log fire is dodgy, it smokes a lot and wouldn't draw so produced no heat which makes open plan sitting area difficult to keep warm if required. The cottage is quite draughty so probably more suited to the warmer months.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The Cottage is located in a lovely setting surrounded by a beautiful garden and woodlands. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would recommend it.

Stayed at this cottage with my adult daughter for 8 nights and it was just wonderful! Great location for exploring North Wales/Chester, just off the main road but you can't hear the traffic. It's like stepping back in time and a lot of thought has gone into the layout of this cottage. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen and extra touches like electric blankets on the beds. Great to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A wonderful wood burning stove with an endless supply of logs made the cottage so cozy and relaxing. I'm so glad we discovered this place and I hope to return.
