We travelled from Milan to St. Gallen to visit the city and attend a musical in the beautiful St. Gallen theatre. The accommodation is not in the city centre, but the bus stop is just a one-minute walk away, and in seven minutes you are in the centre. Our host gave us two day passes, valid for all public transport, free of charge and included in the price. Being in a residential area is actually an advantage, as it is very quiet. The apartment is spotlessly clean, with a lovely kitchen and comfortable mattresses. An excellent experience. And what about parking? Very simple: you can park in the blue-lined spaces, and it costs 10 Swiss francs for 24 hours. You need an app; I gave 10 francs to my host and he paid for it on my behalf. I honestly do not know what more I could ask for. For us Italians, Switzerland is very expensive, so I was satisfied with the price. Of course, a coffee in Milan costs €1.20, while in St. Gallen it costs €3.20. That is how it is, but overall I am very satisfied.

The host was very nice and welcoming. We had a great time in the flat. The beds were very comfortable.
