Super accueil, on se sent très bien dans le riad. Piscine et jardin très agréables.

Quelques sujets d’équipements : pas de shampoing, gel douche, mauvaise literie…

L’emplacement, le calme et la propreté

A beautifully restored Riad, tastefully furnished which oozes history and possibly one or two ghosts! We had the place to ourselves which suited the four of us but might not suit those who are expecting to meet fellow visitors. Extremely quiet but the hussle and bustle of Taroudant life is just outside the door. Very well located for the two main souks and Place Assarag where you can sit drinking mint tea and watch the world go by. We had been warned that November could be cold in the morning and night and it certainly was. I managed to swim each day but it was cold as the sun didn’t really get to heat the pool. We ended up staying for five nights (I extended our stay no problem). There’s not a lot to “do” in Taroudant in the way of touristy things but for me, just wandering the labyrinth of streets and looking at all the different corners of the city was fascinating and enough. We did one day trip to Tioute which was a highlight if you’re into agricultural systems and production…fascinating. Fully functioning kitchen was good to have.

Although we were met at the square and shown to the accommodation, we were quickly left to our own devices. There is no welcoming pack to help orientate you which would have been helpful. The caretaker spoke French but the lovely cleaning lady only spoke Arabic.
