Cottagecore: Peace, Quiet, Serenity, Nature.

We had an exceptionally restful stay in this quaint little storybook stone cottage nestled in the hills. Cradled in the midst of terracey orchards, surrounded by the woods, we fell asleep early and woke up to the bird song. Nothing but peace and clarity. The place is ideal for cottage core, off-grid lovers who embrace and respect nature and simplicity of life. A paradise for children who are fascinated by nature, couples who need some time alone, friends to plot their next adventure on the spacious terrace with a bottle of wine. Yet all the amenities required to function in the modern world are there: water, electricity and wifi. We visited the island out of the main season. February night was chilly and we burned some logs in the fireplace, which quickly warmed up the entire interior. The space was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower was warm. Everything we needed after an exhausting trip. The house is an ideal base to retreat to after exploring the island. It’s accessed by the hidden offshoot straight from the main road. Having your own motorized transportation is preferred, though I imagine that experienced mountain bikers would have no problem accessing the property. Would not think that it’s accessible to those with limited mobility. Our hosts, Mirela and Ante were responsive, kind and gracious. We wish we could have stayed longer. We wish we had our dog with us as he would have enjoyed the experience. We wish to be back soon!

Charming stone house

I loved the style of stone house and the area it was positioned. Stone house was surrounded with nature and it was so relaxing and enjoyable. Stone house was beautiful and very charming. The owners were amazing, so polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay!

This place is excellent! It is a little, nice, old house located in a forest just outside Zrnovo. You have amazing view over the forest, beautiful mountains and as a bonus - birds singing only for you. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay.

Surrounded by nature on Korcula made for a perfect stay!

We love nature, camping, outdoors settings, away from the hustle and bustle, so this was the perfect place for us. We were away from everything and felt as though we were on top of the world, such beautiful scenery surrounding us. Yes we had a car to get into town and tour the island, but loved the peace and quiet of this simple yet lovely environment. The hosts were great and very attentive to anything we needed. Parking was fine. Internet was good.

If you need a quick recharge, this is a place you need to book. It has all - fresh air, garden, peace, calm… even with kids is possible to relax! Bonus: kids fell in sleep very fast thanks to the activity on fresh air.

Secluded stone cottage perfect for a few days of peace and quiet

A perfect little getaway on one of Croatia's loveliest islands! This charming stone cottage was cozy inside, but had a lot of thoughtful outdoor spaces to make the most of the sun (and in my case, the full moon.) Mirela was a gracious host, stocking the kitchen with everything you would need for a few days stay. The cottage is quite remote, but also a very short drive from Korcula and Lumbarda, Vela Pržina and Kočje. I came for a little peace and quiet, and definitely found it!

Devo dare 10, ma darei anche 11. Posto incantevole immerso nella natura, tutto perfetto e pulitissimo. Tutti i confort possibili, anche un bellissimo camino in casa , senza dimenticare la bellissima accoglienza della nostra ospite. Il peccato è stato fermarsi solo per una notte. Consigliatissimo.
