Within walking distance of St Ives, with fast internet, a lovely garden seating area, and a powerful shower. The property also offered a good range of amenities and provided fresh towels on request.

The room offers very little privacy, as the large French doors are only covered by a heavy living room-style curtain instead of an opaque film, wooden blinds or proper covering. This means guests next door can see in, which makes it hard to feel comfortable. The furniture is attractive in design but made from rather cheap materials. The mattress sags in the middle, and the duvet is far too heavy for summer—having a lighter option would make sleeping much easier.

Great stay, amazing location

We had a great stay, the room was clean and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. We especially appreciated the shower—it was perfect after a long day of hiking. The location was fantastic: the neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, with a beautiful and easy 25-minute walk into St Ives, and just 15 minutes to the beach. Bonus points for car parking and being dog-friendly!

Not a negative, but the ambiance feels quite "homey," as the space is essentially an ensuite room within a private house, with an independent entrance. The garden area is shared with guests from one other room, and they’ll need to walk past your French door to reach their room. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something worth considering.

Comfortable, affordable and well presented en-suite room

For the price paid we were very happy with location and comfort levels of the room. The bathroom had an excellent shower. Very clean throughout! Plenty of space for everything. The breakfast was plentiful! We will absolutely be visiting again and will be recommending to friends and family.

I’m really hard pressed to find fault especially given the reasonable rates charged!

Lovely stay in Carbis Bay. Great location close to the beach and in good distance to St Ives. Hosts were very helpful and communicative, they even had an electric charger for our car. Great to have parking and was quiet and clean.

Ensuite bedroom room. Very comfy bed. Quality tea and coffees available. Shower good. Met Robin...very welcoming. Small fridge with complimentary water. Lots of information on the surrounding area. Seating area outside patio doors. Enjoyed walks to the many beaches in Carbis Bay area. Lovely walk to St Ives. Just perfect. Being part of someone's home I worried about noise when watching TV...but everywhere was quiet. Thank you.

Parken war direkt vor dem Haus möglich, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war prima und der Bus nach St. Ives fuhr 3 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt ab.

Die Duftstäbchen waren leider viel zu intensiv für unseren Geschmack.

Excellent séjour à St Yves

Les indications pour trouver le logement sont très compréhensibles. Le logement est propre, fonctionnel et possède un très grand lit. La salle de bain est très grande. Le parking est situé à côté du logement ce qui est très pratique.
