Just amazing location, it felt like I was in the English countryside with a bit of drama thrown in with the mountains. There was beautiful flowers, roses and peonies and daffodils and Iris in the garden and a super funny dog. I felt like I could stay there forever. There’s a little hike about 15 minutes uphill but really quite doable. We arrived at night and even then it wasn’t a big deal.
Charged for a bonfire without asking. Only 250 rupee’s but should communicate and be transparent.

Wow - everything was perfect at Old is Gold. Kiran, the host and his family are so welcoming, kind and really great hosts. Wonderful Himachali food, lovely clean, comfortable and warm rooms and a communal fire place which was a lovely spot to stay warm and talk with the family. The views are incredible, seeing snow capped mountains and peaceful quiet and clean forest. You can tell this family really take care and love their land. This was the most beautiful and peaceful place we stayed at in the Jibhi area. Highly recommend it, thankyou!!!!
