Athens Gate Acropolis One bedroom apartment

Muy cómodo, limpio y, además, excelente ubicación.

Solo cambiaría toallas porque eran muy duras.

Apartment was spacious and the bed / couch is comfortable. Location was perfect, close to many attractions and Plaka had everything you needed. As two female travellers we felt safe and that’s really important to us . Air con worked perfectly and very much needed. The terrace was also lovely.

Only minor thing I could say was arriving at 1am and no water left so had to go back out to the McDonald’s that was open so if you are arriving at at bizarre time get your water / anything you need at the airport before making your way

Overall, we had a comfortable stay and really enjoyed the location. It has a lift and security door. It has a smart tv that connects to the internet. Wifi. It’s quiet to sleep in as it’s not in a noisy location. Close to the tram and train station. The host answered all the questions we had during our stay which was comforting. Great location!!

Although the listing is for a one-bedroom apartment, two additional rooms are locked and inaccessible throughout your stay. It would be helpful if this was made clear in the listing. Kitchen: * The dishwasher and oven were not working during our stay. * A tea towel and hand soap are not provided. Paper towels were provided but less than half a roll so we ran out within 3 days. * When we arrived The dish soap was heavily watered down and was mostly water. It ran out after two days. * The fridge didn’t smell fresh * Coffee pods could be provided for the full duration of the stay (approximately one per guest, per day). We stayed for six nights, only four pods were provided * A kettle and toaster would be a great addition to give that proper apartment stay feel. Bedroom: * Neither of the bedroom windows had locks that worked. The host advised that this was not a security concern because of the height of the building. * As hotels normally do: Two spare pillows could be provided in the cupboard in addition to the two on the bed. A spare blanket could also be provided in the cupboard, as an alternative option to the sheet/light blanket on the bed. Bathroom: * There was no bath plug, so my three year old was unable to use the bath. Bath is discoloured. * The shower water pressure is very light. * A little more toilet paper should be provided, particularly for longer stays. * A washing machine would be a fantastic addition, especially for guests staying more than a few nights. Towels are not changed during the stay so could be washed in washing machine. These are all relatively minor details, but addressing them would make the apartment feel much more complete. Aside from these points, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Athens. The location is definitely the apartment's biggest highlight.

El departamento estaba muy cerca de todo, a unos minutos caminando de la acrópolis y del barrio de plaka. El lugar era espacioso, y tenia todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta! Incluido aire acondicionado y una terraza muy grande!
