Casale Millinchè

The place has everything you need for your stay. It's spacious and clean. We had all utensils so we could cook there if we didn't want to go out in the evening. It has a unique rustic touch in the decor and furnishings.

Maybe the owner could have provided those small body wash bottles since we didn't bring along and had to go to the supermarket for it.

It was a sweet and quiet place outside of Scicli where they press oil. We were there while they were busy harvesting the olives so it was interesting to see the process.

To stay here you need to have a car but other than that - there was nothing to not like. Maybe they need to add a cheese grater to their kitchen supplies! I booked for 2 people and they must have thought we were a couple because I did not specify that we were 2 friends and needed both beds made. Luckily there was a relative up in the area where they were pressing oil that evening and she was able to find clean sheets for the upstairs bed for us. I suppose I would make all the beds, if I were them, just to be sure next time.
