About this house rental
Ideal for those who want to enjoy the serenity of nature without giving up the benefits of the PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL with whirlpool and the proximity to just 2 minutes by car to the baroque city of Scicli, a UNESCO heritage site and home to the famous fictional Commissioner Montalbano.
Two bedrooms available for guests, both with private bathroom,
of space reserved for self-catering, with the possibility therefore not only to taste but also to personally prepare the best foods of our ancient culinary art at home.
For those staying for more than five nights, a welcome free tasting of some of the culinary specialties of our island is provided on arrival.
Both bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one is double and the other is twin / double, with large windows that act as an independent entrance, veranda for breakfast and
dinner outside, flat screen TV, comfortable beds, clothes hanger corner and kitchen corner.
A fourth or fifth guest will be able to take advantage of a comfortable double sofa bed placed in the entrance and combined with one of the two bedrooms. For the fourth and fifth guest an extra fee is payable, to be agreed in advance with the owner, and to be paid in cash on arrival
You can enjoy free use of common areas with the owner, who lives on the upper floor of the house, such as on-site parking, solarium, swimming pool with whirlpool, barbecue with outdoor stone table and ....... 5000 square meters of land with olive trees, almond trees and centuries-old carob trees .....
The famous Via Mormino Penna di Scicli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its sumptuous Baroque palaces, its bars, creperies, pizzerias, ice cream shops, exhibitions and nightlife, is only 3 minutes away by car.

We, a family of 4 spent 9 fantastic days in this house. Fabrizio and his family are great hosts, very service minded and friendly. The house fullfilled you expectations to the full. We like to cook so better cooking utensiles would have been nice. But apart from that everything was perfect. The garden is green with wonderfull pine trees, almond trees and olive trees, giving enough shade from the sun, and a nice pool to chill in. When talking with Fabrizio it is clear that he is very proud of his garden. The house is just 10 minutes by car from the lovely beach of Sampieri. If you don’t want to eat lunch at the beach, just drive home, have lunch and a siesta and back down in the afternoon. It is also a short driving distace from Schicli and Modica where you can go for a stroll, eat in one of the many restaurants or just have a drink or some gelato. We especially recommend the restaurant Tannino, kind of a hidden gem. We will definately be back
