Seaview 2 bedroom apartment

Wij hebben een upgrade gekregen naar een appartement met 3 slaapkamers en een balkon om de hoek van de oorspronkelijke boeking. Maar beide appartementen hebben een hele fijne ligging. Met de voet naar het strand en als bonus heeft het grotere appartement een privé parkeerplaats. Het is ook een heerlijk ruim appartement.

Eigenlijk beviel alles. We hebben een waterlekkage gehad op de badkamer beneden door de badkamer boven. Maar omdat je er 2 hebt, kun je toch gewoon douchen enzo. En ik weet zeker dat die lekkage binnen no time is opgelost.

The location was excellent, clean flat although a couple of issues with damp needing addressed. Hosts were fantastic communicators and very helpful.

A bit of damp in the bunkbed room, instructions for using the heating would have been helpful and we were told there would be a toilet roll in the bathroom but there was only half a toilet roll.

A lamp next to the bed would have been good and maybe one in the living room otherwise everything we needed!

The location was perfect. Great view. Close to the beach, the amusements and just a 5 minute walk to the town. The main bedroom was spacious and the bed large. Looked beautiful as we arrived. The bathroom was also great. It was well stocked with towels, shower gels and toilet paper. The heated towel rail and multiple fans were appreciated. The kitchenette was well stocked with microwave, hob, pots and pans, and there were plenty of plates and cups. The host responded immediately when contacted and came quickly to change bedding when necessary. Littlehampton beach and boating/crabbing pond are a delight. Locals were, on the whole, very friendly. Particularly loved the reptile pet shop in the town and the food cabins and bar just behind the promenade.

The WiFi was awful, very intermittent and for the last day the tv wouldn't even connect. This was frustrating for most of us and devastating for the teenager! The window in the smaller bedroom is un-openable, which was unpleasant in the heat or just for airing the room. There were only 2 proper forks , and we were a family of 4. The cups in the cupboards were filthy and needed rewashing, I'm assuming from previous guests not caring. There were animal hairs on the beds, floor and seating (The host was also displeased about this and changed the bedding for us without any fuss), and there were other dubious hairs everywhere. Obviously in need of a little maintenance but that could have been overlooked if cleaner.
