Welcome to your little slice of heaven on earth. Located in the heart of Venice, your stay comes with all the pleasures of tropical beach living.
Conveniently situated in the heart of the Island, your home is tucked away in a peaceful part of town without street noise, yet close enough to plenteous shopping, dining, salon-ing, or just about any other amusement you might indulge in.
Venice Island is one of the safest neighborhoods in Florida. This home is directly across the street from the beautifully maintained Prentiss French Park, complete with a walking trail, playground, and picnic tables for your wine and charcuterie lunch. It's never too crowded, full of cute wildlife, and friends can be made very quickly with the kind neighbors. There are also four other parks within a 5-minute walk from your home.
If you like the beach, you'll love ours. Only 5-blocks away you will reach the shores of one of the most serene beaches in America, Venice Beach. Most tourists use the main beach entrance but if you'd like a more local experience, check out the Chauncey Howard Beach entrance, or try the Alhambra Rd. entrance, especially early in the morning where you quite often find yourself alone with the beautiful views.
Everything in the home is updated. Luxury vinyl floors, appliances, a remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, pIantation shutters, and the furniture is in very good condition. The interior décor keeps the living space bright and beachy, the television sets are high definition, and the wireless internet is the fastest available. Ample Florida sunshine pours through the front windows to keep your spirits high.
Included in your stay are bicycles, beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, and a grill with extra propane tanks on-site so you don't run out.

The house was nice and the location was great. We used the bikes and they worked but could definitely use a tune up. Unfortunately, the TV in the main room was broken upon our arrival, Saturday, for a week long stay. I got a quick response and TV was taken to be “repaired”. Received a text 2 days later it was not repairable and they “ordered” a new TV. My only request regarding the TV was we had a replacement by Thursday (Thanksgiving) so we could watch football and kids would have another TV to watch something else. Unfortunately a replacement never arrived. We moved the only TV back and forth between the rooms as needed for the week. I would have appreciated better communication. I got an explanation that due to the “budget”, they had to order TV (despite there being a Walmart with TVs on sale 4 miles down the road). This was frustrating because I also have a budget and, based on that budget, booked a stay in a house that met our needs. Unfortunately we had to be inconvenienced due to the owners “budget”.

Pleasant, quiet, safe neighborhood close to Venice Beach and Historic center. Hosts responded in timely manner to any questions. House was tastefully decorated with plenty of towels
