Authentic Tuscan mountain top medieval village stay in a charming stone cottage. Exceptionally clean with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms and a small kitchen.
It also has an outside barbecue and small patio.
A wonderful experience in the quiet village of Montelaterone. By the time we had to leave, we really didn't want to go!
Not a negative, but important to note - it isn't easy to find this property, Google maps is not enough. You can't park next to the house, so be prepared to walk with luggage. The drive is not easy once you enter the village, so be very careful, and definitely don't arrive after dark.
The stairs inside are also not for everyone, if you have any disabilities, don't book this one.
Make sure you communicate with the host in advance for arrival and check-in instructions, as we had to wait for a while to get the access code.

La proprietaria è stata molto gentile durante tutto il nostro soggiorno, ci ha fatto trovare una bottiglia di vino e abbastanza prodotti per la colazione, il paesino è molto tranquillo, la casa è storica, ben ristrutturata.
La scala a chiocciola interna che collega i tre piani è da attenzionare se si viaggia con bambini, essendo una casa all'interno del centro storico il parcheggio non è molto vicino.

A ver, que nadie se confunda: se trata de una casita minúscula con tres plantas unidas por una estrecha escalera de caracol en medio de un pueblito medieval. Eso sí, más o menos, con todas las comodidades. La primera cosa buena es, como conductor, la subida de autoestima cuando consigues llegar arriba, no es subida para principiantes. La segunda es habitar por unos días un "borgo“ como Montelaterone: al menos, una vez en la vida, todo el mundo debería vivir en un pueblito así. La tercera, Federica: no llegué a conocerla personalmente, pero estuvo pendiente de todo a través de WhatsApp y fue muy amable
La verdad es que hemos pasado unos días estupendos. Pegas, por ejemplo, además del camino de acceso, que es para conductores expertos, el que solo hubiera la bolsa de basura puesta, sin otra para reponer, nos fastidió un poco... También, éramos gente alta y nos hemos golpeado la cabeza con todos los dinteles de la casa. Pero todo bien en lias generales
