Casa Dalilà

We booked this place in a last moment after the host of the other apartment we booked in- Mont6 cancelled on us after the arrival due to double booking (better offer from Airbnb). Dalila is a spacious and clean apartment located on the first floor with all facilities, even the washing machine. The bed was big and comfortable. The communication with the host was through WhatsApp only. Cefalu is not a big town so everywhere is within walking distance but this apartment was in a quiet alley just around the cathedral and close to the beach.

- Very small balcony with actually no privacy, only for one person to sit and to hang your laundry but that is the charm of the old town I guess. - The couch in the sitting room was kind of breaking apart - the sitting pillows were coming off so it wasn't comfortable to sit on. - Online check in was a bit time consuming with filling all your details and taking selfies and passport pictures, not very secure for me. - After check in the information how to get in to the apartment was sent by WhatsApp in Italian only.

Room was spacious and was more than enough for 2 people! Bed was comfortable and not overly firm like a lot of other accomodations. Apartment was clean and modern and check in/out was seamless. Location was amazing for a stay in Cefalu with the main streets and beach all within a a few minute walk.

Nothing but just note if travelling with heavy luggage the walk to the apartment is a couple minutes at a steep uphill and around 20 steps up to the room!

Location excellent - very convenient. A short walk to everything - beach, shops, restaurants. Comfortable and clean. 15 minute walk to free parking.

The location was lovely, the apartment was very well equipped, and the hosts communicated nicely and promptly.

The bed was a bit soft, but I'm sure it's perfectly fine for someone who prefers that (the mattress ia clearly relatively new and well kept). The communication prior to the day of the check in was lacking. Once it started, though, everything was fine!
