Best place to stay in the area

From having your own parking space to the spacious accommodation to the price, everything went well. Well-appointed kitchen and nice lounge area with huge tv. Good location just outside the town but well within walking distance, this is our new go to when visiting from now on.

Gorgeous little retreat - tucked away in the countryside but not far from walks, a pretty village and full of everything

The property was immaculately clean, really lovely decor and we instantly felt at home. There was everything we could have expected plus so much. Would be perfect for a long weekend stay. We were only there for a wedding. Lovely little breakfast hamper but if I’m being picky - it was all ultra processed foods. Maybe Wholemeal bread, porridge oats/porridge pots and some fruit or something similar. And plain yoghurt rather than artificially sweetened. But that’s just to preference. The shower was brilliant and the kitchen facilities outstanding.

The check in was later than we’d have liked, and the same with check out - quite early. 11am would work better. The bed was a little hard, but it was fine.

Long weekend away

Everything you wanted was there.very clean and tidy. Lovely touch with a bottle for my wife's birthday.

Television kept buffering so could not watch much. No contoll yourself over heating. Everyone has different preferences.

....lots ofivy little touches. Wine tea coffee biscuits milk water toiletries etc etc .... fantastic facilities and electrical goods. Huge TV!! Have thought of everything!! SHARP FAN WAS AN ABSOLUTE BONUS!!!! THANK YOU. Would stay again and highly recommend !!!!

Voiles at patio doors for privacy. Would have liked a little bit more time to check out .. 11am? Been to a wedding so late to bed. Would have liked not to have such an early start to our day. Little confused about mentions of breakfast in other reviews? Maybe we missed that but definitely not a complaint!

Lovely place to relax and feel pampered

The property was easy to find with the instructions and photos that were given when I booked. The Retreat had everything you would need , a lovely basket of breakfast things was supplied , also make sure you read the information pack supplied as soon as much thought has been put into it . The bed was super clean and comfortable. The shower was powerful too . All in all a lovely place to base yourself when going on day trips .

The only thing I would say is maybe having a privacy curtain on the main doors , but apart from that all lovely .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: was a lovely base to come back to each night after spending the day visiting our grandch

The immaculately clean property, the super comfortable furnishings, the lovely welcome pack all made us feel welcome and comfortably at home from the minute we arrived.

It did take us a few minutes to find it precisely, and that would have probably been a bit problematic, but it had been foreseen anddealt with by Amanda and Gary sending us photos to guide us to the exact location. It is a peaceful spot to stay.

The Perfect Retreat

The property is very modern, comfy and has everything you need plus lots more. A lot of thought has gone into it. Clean, spacious and airy. Easy parking on site and dog friendly. Great location just off the M5 close to so many places.

Quiet, high class retreat.

Beautiful decor with a very high quality finish to everything. Dog friendly too. The bed was amazingly comfortable and nice to stay somewhere with a decent TV as we love watching films.

Excellent property. We only stayed one night with our dog as we were house hunting in the area.

The property was excellently decorated. All amenities were new and the whole place was immaculate.

The property was remarkable. Modern furnishings; thoughtful design; comfortable; spacious for single people or couples. Small dogs welcome.

Comfy, clean and well proportioned.

The accommodation was spotless, well equipped and comfy. The main room was well laid out and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was large, plenty of space, but only a shower. Only a 5 minute drive to the town centre.

The bathroom was large enough to have a bath, and personally, we both prefer a bath, over a shower. The outside of the property was a shared garden with the owner, the patio furniture is outside the owners kitchen. Access to the parking is off a narrow lane which we missed first time, directions could be better.
