Die Lage außerhalb der Altstadt bzw. des ZTL haben wir aufgrund des sicheren Tiefgaragenplatzes in Kauf genommen. Mit dem Bus oder zu Fuß sind es etwa 30 - 40 Minuten zu den Uffizien. Die Küchenausstattung ist etwas rudimentär (keine Kaffeemaschine, nur Mini-Bialetti), aber 2 mal Frühstück geht sich aus, der Geschirrspüler ist dann halt nur halb voll. Der Balkon und die Waschmaschine waren auch gut zu verwenden.

The owner met us on site to hand over the keys and explained the easy check out process. The building was secure with elevator access to the apartment. The apartment was really spacious with 2 large bedrooms with ample storage and 2 full washrooms. Washing machine also in the apartment which was great. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived and the bottle of wine left by the owner was a lovely touch. The apartment is 20-30 minutes walk from the attractions which we did most days. We did try out the bus system and it worked well as well. Small grocery store a 5 minute walk from the apartment and lots of dining options close by.

The property owner responded promptly to our queries and requests. The apartment was new and well furnished. It was convenient to use the well equipped kitchen. The living room and the balcony were spacious and relaxing. The property was located outside the ZTL of Florence and there was a private car park. On foot, it took about 30 minutes to reach the centre of Florence.

Quite some mosquitoes flew into the apartment though nets were installed.
