Horizon Vert by Melrose

The location was excellent: the no-through road means there is no passing traffic and it is extremely quiet as a result. It is a one minute walk to the promenade and the beach. There are several snack options within a short walking distance with a boulangerie and fantastic patisserie and cafe within a 10 minute walk. The layout of the property is comfortable and spacious, well-suited for a family with an open plan living area and kitchen, two shower rooms and separate toilets. The property was very clean. We ate outside and played some games in the garden. The communication from Melrose was friendly and helpful. We took advantage of their delivery service by ordering a breakfast and a cheese platter. These were both delicious and delivered by very friendly individuals. We selected the property for its close proximity to the British Normandy Memorial.

One minor note: the recycling is collected fortnightly which is obviously outside the control of Melrose. It did mean however that the bin was full during our stay, especially as it was shared with the small property next door. We would have appreciated a box for glass recycling or some information about where we could recycle locally.

De ruimte en de hygiëne.

De verlichting als je in het donker komt te zitten. De lampen aan het plafond zijn heel fel. En de twee schermlampjes zijn te weinig om het sfeervol te maken en genoeg licht te hebben. En de bank mag wel vervangen worden. Is flink doorgezakt en daardoor krijg je rugpijn, vooral als je met oudere personen op vakantie bent.

The location and the proximity to the beach and the city center are great - this combined with the calm street. Great place. A very vocal host providing great information about how to get to the property, what to find around the place - perfectly placed in messages. Lovely.

Nothing not to like.
