Some breakfast ingredients (cereal biscuits) were supplied

Bathroom layout poor. You'll burn your leg on the towel radiator when sitting on the wc! Dehumidifier in Bathroom not working. No window

Weather was crap but still really enjoyed our break.

Heating was good and already on before we arrived. Apartment and Bedding was clean, lovely selection of Breakfast items available to us upon arrival. Great location.

Great place to stay

The property had a luxury feel, with comfortable bedding and plush towels. 2 mins from the beach and 5 mins to the town.

Perfect for a short stay but I don’t think I could book again

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, every utensil you could need and lovely chocolate biscuits. Fantastic position very near the sea.

I couldn’t get into the bath as it is far too high. I’m only 5ft 2 and haven’t got full use of my knee bend following a knee replacement 19 months ago! Also the person in the flat above kept us awake from 2 am!! Bit of a problem with the toilet system not filling up on occasions

It was a comfortable apartment close to all amenities. It was clean and nicely appointed with all needed for our stay .

There were just a couple of issues . The mixer tap was loose, and the toilet cistern needs some attention as it does not always fill up . These things did not ruin our stay .

Exceeded expections

Hard to think of anything. The parking space next to the wall was a little tight and tricky line up with to get in and out, much easier when other spaces empty. But neverthe less an essential feature.

End of summer get away

The location was perfect close to most things. The bed was really comfortable.

The bath was too high which made it a struggle to get into. It also needs a few small jobs doing to it to bring it back up together. When we first arrived we couldn’t access the property as the main entrance key was broken and the tap in the kitchen needed fixing.

Lovely apartment - very clean & had all we needed. Loved extra touches- biscuits & cereals provided. Perfect location for Swanage & area. Only a short walk to beach & town.

Only 1 suggestion - maybe a couple of hooks in bathroom for towels.

bath was to high set on a plinth high 4" some say parking for no4 is tight but if you reverse towards the back door it is a lot easier on instruction for electric oven we are used to gas

Parking was not so good especially when whoever parked at no 3 didn’t leave room to get in the parking space The lovely little old lady next door moved her car and let us have her parking space even though it was late Only thing I can really say that was not good and this wasn’t down to the owners

Well situated for all the attractions in Swanage, well equipped and spacious.

Location was great, very well equipped throughout the flat, On site parking. Comfortable bed, nicely furnished.

A lovely flat in an excellent location., though the bathroom is only suitable for the able-bodied.

For someone who is even moderately restricted in mobility, the bath/shower is extremely difficult to access, as it is so high off the floor. The allotted parking space is tricky to access (though parking on the road outside is free and unrestricted before May 15th).

Great location, 5 mins walk to town, transport and seafront. Easy entry on arrival with good instructions received. Clean, comfortable and great facilities, well equipped kitchen, tea, coffee and biscuits!

Good location but some issues with noise

Amberlea apartment is in a large house, it has everything you need for your stay, including tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, cereal and jams. It's in a good location for the town and beach with some good walks along the coast.

As mentioned in other reviews the bath/shower is very high, as it's raised off the floor and is not that easy to get into and out of especially if you have any mobility issues. Being on the ground floor there is some noise from the apartment above especially on two of the nights we were awakened in the early hours of the morning by movement and loud talking in the flat above.

Very nice apartment, ideal for all that Swanage has to offer.

The apartment is ideal for a stay in Swanage. It is handy for the beach, the town and the railway and bus station. The apartment is very well fitted out.

The rear door to the building is very hard to unlock. The lock could do with some wd40. The bathroom door creaks, which could also do with some wd40. The bathroom is quite small. The bath takes up too much space and is raised high and difficult to get in. The TV in the bedroom is broadband only, and we did not use it.
