Very quaint & right in the heart of Auburn.
Beds were comfy and the bathrooms in the suites were new.
The suites were beautifully decorated. The proportion of the bedroom - bathroom could be designed better to accommodate a small fitted kitchen.
The host Marjorie was AMAZING. Could not fault her.
The kitchens. Very small and not really suitable to make anything meaningful.
There was a group of 7 staying in the cottage and suites. None of the kitchens were suitable to cater for a group and there was nowhere to sit and eat as a group (the outside garden had a lot of nettles & a couple of us got stung).
However, if you rented a suite or the cottage as two people it would much more manageable/suitable.

The location is great. The outside gardens are beautiful. The look and design is attractive. The bed was comfy and I slept extremely well. We recommend Strange Concept restaurant/cafe.
It is confusing the way it is presented in the listing… Suite 1 is large with a full kitchen and loft. Suite 2 is basically a small bedroom with an ensuite. We got suite 2. It wasn’t quite what I expected from the listing. But it was ok.
There is a medium-size heart-shaped hole in the ensuite door. Not great if you want privacy.
There were no instructions for wifi. I asked the host via text but I couldn’t get it to work using what they sent. 🤷♀️

The location and the fact that it was dog friendly, it had kitchenette. The garden and lounge room was nicely set out.
The bathroom sink was dirty when we arrived with coke and it had been splashed on the floor. There was dirty glasses in the cupboard and the washing up stuff wasn’t new and clean to begin with. We weren’t provided with a hand towel and floor matt. The bed is looking loose where it joins together which was concerning. These things are all important especially the cleaning and equipment provided for the price.
