Piambong House

Location was excellent in a lovely peaceful setting. The property was lovely and well equipped, it has been beautifully renovated and is clearly loved. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and it has been thoughtfully presented. Communication with Sue was excellent and beyond expectations.

The house was extremely cold on arrival, would be a welcoming touch to turn the heating on prior to our arrival as it took a very long time to get the house warm with it being an old style house with high ceilings. First impressions are important and to walk into a warm environment rather than a freezing cold one would have made a big difference. Breakfast provisions were a little bit lacking, a nice loaf of bread, some extra eggs maybe would be a big improvement. Although it didn't affect us at this time of year, a big improvement would be more comfortable outdoor furniture. None of this ruined our stay, it is provided as a suggestion to take this property to the next level of satisfaction.

It was stunning. Lovely big rooms, gorgeous art on the walls, fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful place to base yourself in Clare Valley. Treat yourself 😊

Nothing We didn't realise the Rodeo was on, on the Saturday night. Music on until 1.30am but not in Sue's control!

Loved the old cottage charm but modified to make it a lovely, comfortable home. Generous complimentary breakfast, everything you could need provided plus more.

So sad there is a drought in the region. The gardens would be beautiful with some rain. Even Sue can't control Mother Nature
