The location was stunning, peaceful.
The room was spacious and clean.
The breakfast was ample and a good selection of food.
The complementary bottle of wine was not expected
The fire place did smell a little but this was minor.

The Tim Knapstein Suite was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is a few minutes drive from Clare and about 20 mins from most parts of the Clare Valley. It's important to have a car. Being right next to the Riesling Trail (cycling and walking) it is very convenient, with bike hire adjacent to the property. The owners provided good information by text messages and a welcome bottle of Clare Vally wine.
A few small things could be improved. There was no tea towel. The coffee capsules were very poor quality, and the breakfast supplies could be better quality. They were simple and basic 'motel-standard' - with plentiful eggs and bacon to cook. Some fresh fruit would have been welcome.

Location was great, property very clean and great to have a dishwasher.
It was very cold and there were no instructions for how to make it warmer. I didn't understand how to work the aircon and all it did was blow out cold air. Instructions to get to the property/entry etc were not received until we'd left Adelaide and I am not on data roaming so initially I couldn't find the property, didn't realise you could just walk into it (I thought we'd have to check in) so that needs to be rectified.
