Paihia Lighthouse

Such a beautiful residence with a stunning view! Alisha was prompt in responding whenever we had questions. Although we did not expect it, Alisha was so kind to offer a schedule change when our flight was cancelled. Peaceful walk to town and easy access to many eateries or tours. The huge picture windows opened to allow the cool breeze in. The kitchen was well-equipped and we cooked most meals in house. The espresso machine and air fryer were easy to use. Bbq grill on the deck too. We would definitely stay here again when we visit in the future.

As others mentioned, the parking can be a little tricky. However, Alisha helped us in the first time. Then, it was easier after we tried again. Definitely easier with a smaller car. It is free, covered, off street parking, so well worth the effort.

Lovely spot. Elevated and great view of the bay. Need to be careful when parking. But otherwise terrific place.

Parking was a problem for second car, got accosted by neighbour because we parked in a guest car park. Also manager living on site underneath took up some of the parking spaces. No dustpan or brush, no teapot, only one tea towel, not enough mixing bowls Was very hot without blinds
