Historic Leadville Loft: Sauna Views

Beautiful historic building and the unit was very nice and clean and comfortable.

It was all great.

The apartment worked perfectly for our group. It had everything we needed -- and more! The historic aspect of the building made it a special place to stay. Communication was excellent-- very quick and informative. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

We liked everything!

Comfortable beds. The split layout is good for two couples. The views of the mountains were very beautiful. It was a good place to stay for hiking. The town restaurants and amenities are just a few minutes walk.

We missed a toaster but other than that it’s well equipped in the kitchen. The smaller bedroom needs blackout curtains. In the afternoon sun it becomes quite hot.

The property in itself was wonderful

Check-in is at 4 pm. As we were flying in, we asked if we could check in a little earlier, but they declined because the property was being cleaned. We then asked to cancel, having just booked, and they declined that too. To top it off, the cleaner turned up at the property before 10 am on the day we left, which was funny, because we'd been told cleaning took until exactly 4 pm. And by the way, if you stay later than 10 am, you get a fine. We were also asked to sign a waiver with more than 20 clauses before arriving. It made the stay stressful from the start, as we were constantly worried about what would happen if something was accidentally damaged. The property managers need to focus more on hospitality and less on red tape. I wouldn't recommend it. There are nicer places nearby that are more flexible and don't let these things spoil an enjoyable stay.
