Kiwi Charmer - Onemana Holiday Home

If you’re after a traditional Kiwi bach/holiday home next to the beach - this is perfect. The fact that dogs are allowed was the clincher for me. The home has been lived in, it’s no 5 star hotel, but who wants something sterile when you have dogs and kids and kidults.

The driveway is steep and tricky with room for one car. This isn’t the fault of the bach, as the views are outstanding and you can park other cars a short walk down the hill.

Loved the location and the indoor fire place was an amazing and warmed the house up really well. We loved being so close to the beach with such little kids and pets.

The house was dusty and seemed like it needed a good deep clean. However, the commonly used things such as the bedding, linen, kitchen and shower were clean.

The last 2 reviews on this property sum it up. You expect a cleaned property when you pay the price we did. It has not been properly cleaned for some time. The parking was limited. The photo of where to park appears to be next door on someone else's property. The drive is VERY steep so if you have any mobility issues, forget it. Hot in the shower is for cold and vice versa. Shower very slow draining - might need a clean. Found a pile of clothes behind the couch. Deck covered in debris. To the owners - if you are paying a cleaner you are being ripped off.
