The apartment's location is fantastic, with a view of the Parliament, and it has everything needed for a stay.

Hygiene standards need to be higher. Our stay was for the Bucharest Marathon. I had informed the host of the reason for our visit and asked if it was possible to leave the car there until the race ended - which was allowed, but only for an additional fee. The day before the marathon, I received a message from the host stating that, due to the event, no requests for late check-out would be accommodated. The marathon starts at 9:00 AM, meaning it is impossible to participate, shower, and chech-out the apartment on time. That message should have been sent earlier so we could have reconsidered our choice of host. After a run lasting three or four hours, you have to travel for several more hours while sweaty and dirty. It’s not pleasant at all. We complied with the host's requirements and checked out the apartment before the race started. I am participating in this marathon for the third time, and I have never before encountered a host who adhered so strictly to the terms. While it is true that rules are meant to be followed, it is impossible for me to run the marathon and check out of the apartment at the same time. In previous years, hosts allowed for a slightly later check-out - and at no extra cost for either the apartment or the parking. Unfortunately, the other apartments were already booked.
